A legend is born! Congrats on your new found fan base :-)
ReplyDeleteI guess my parachutes are the new top hair styles lol.. Good grief
ReplyDeleteit's the whole feather trend :)
ReplyDeleteoh I know! Rusty Spinner's blog has a perfect whiting gold saddle on sale at ebay and bids are at $350.. CRAZY!! Hope he gets his new rod!
ReplyDeleteWhy can't they use pigeon feathers?:) Or maybe crows. $350 that's insane. Time to start raising some birds..!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the hairstylists are starting to target fly fishers because "we" are using "thier" hackle? Hmm? Congratulations on double the publicity and really broadening your readership.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep my eye on the check-out isle magazine for the DFB parachute hair-do at the next red carpet :)
ReplyDeleteWhat in the world? Will this feather trend just go away so we can return to normal fly tying, without fashionistas clamoring for our materials. The feathers look ridiculous in hair anyway.
ReplyDeleteHowever, they did pick a good fly. I'm a fan of the Deer Hair Parachute - very buggy.

It took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about (i'm slow) and another couple of minutes to absorb it (i'm also old). Good grief is right. I'm generally convinced that women are much smarter than men...I'm starting to question my thesis.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for your comments. It just blew me away to see it there. Oh well...
