blog shout out -- Fly Fishing and Tying obsessed

I have have followed his blog ever since I started and he is an AMAZING tier.  Hands down the best popper tier I have ever seen. He finally has some of his flies at his local Orivs. I suspect he will be tying for more shops in the near future. I would take a minute out of your day and check out his work, start following to see what he comes out with in the future. You will be fully impressed. Below are a couple of his poppers he has tied.  The great thing about this guy is if you ever have a question about his process he is more than willing to talk to you in detail!  His blog also contains his fishing trips he does with tons of fish pictures. His fly pictures are always clear focused which I am still trying to get a handle on. He doesn't only tie poppers but just about any other fly you can think of.  Once a week I will be doing a blog shout out and he fully deserves to be my first.

  1. I'm already a follower, and I would definitely agree with everything you said.
I noticed that the Live Traffic Feed now shows me as a visitor from Memphis. All is right with the world again... well, not really, but you get the idea.

  8. I cover my freshly sharpened hook with paste and coat the hair and bait in paste.
You will also want to have a supply of different lines that you can use.

The less there is between you and the ocean, the more intimate an
experience you will have out at sea.
