I tied these a couple weeks ago but worth posting

I got a dvd from www.day5flies.com. The video is called warmwater streamers with day5. It was an amazing video with great instruction. Also with the DVD I got a couple flies from it to try and replicate it.  Here is what I came up with. These were my first attempt at these kind of flies. I am really happy with the results. These were a real challenge cause I had a hard time getting the materials to lay right. I tied about 6 of each until I felt I got them right. If you have a chance to pick up the DVD I would suggest it!  Thanks again for looking at my blogs. Let me know what you think.

  1. These look great-- I especially like that last one, I can imagine these will hook some serious bass.

Where do you usually go fishing in the vegas area?

  3. I imagine you might fish on Lake Mead for bass if you live in Vegas.
After seeing these flies, I'm left thinking a hardware bass fisherman with a spinnerbait has nothing on a fly rodder now.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, glad you like it. I'm not as prolific a tyer as you are, but I try. You have a new follower as well.
